The fourth biggest town in Texas is Austin. It comes in the list of United State’s largest cities, in the place is seventeen. Austin, Texas is situated in the Hill Country province of Texas and surrounded by the famous cities, Austin, Dallas, Louisiana, Houston and New Orleans. The climate of Austin is more enjoyable and it is hot and clammy in summer. Normally Austin receives regular rain showers in spring. There are numerous lakes in and around Austin.
Austin is placed on the banks of Colorado River. Apart from these there are lakes made by man in the city limit. These lakes are very famous for water related actions like fishing, swimming, boating and water skiing. The major attraction of Austin is Mount Bonnell, one of the utmost peaks in Austin situated nearby Lake Austin. The height is nearly 780 feet more than the MSL and it is the perfect place to watch the sunset from Austin.
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport serves Austin to receive and send visitors from and to all over the world. It is situated 8 miles from downtown on the southeastern side of Austin.
